These towels are from the 2010 Playoffs. The Canucks came into the Playoffs coming off their second consecutive Northwest Division Championship to face the Los Angeles Kings in the Western Quarter-Finals. The two teams traded overtime wins in Games 1 and 2 in Vancouver and regulation wins in Games 3 and 4 in Los Angeles. The Canucks took Game 5 at home before finishing the series in LA, thanks to a goal by Daniel Sedin with a little more than two minutes left in the third period. The Canucks moved on to face the Chicago Blackhawks in the Western Semi-Finals for the second playoff year in a row. The teams traded wins in Games 1 and 2 in Chicago before the Hawks took a 3 games to 1 strangle hold on the series with two wins in Vancouver. Vancouver would attempt a comeback by winning Game 5 in Chicago, but the Blackhawks would win Game 6 in Vancouver and eventually win the Stanley Cup.
This in-game towel was most likely used during the Western Quarter-Finals versus the Kings. Its layout is similar to the towels from 2009 to 2012, with the Save-On-Foods Pharmacy logo underneath the playoff logo. The first row features Global BC television, BC Hydro PowerSmart hydroelectric company, and Molson Canadian Brewing Company. The second row features Team Radio, which had just expanded to 1410 as well as 1040, The Beat 94.5 FM Radio, and The Province newspaper.
